We encourage our clients to come directly to us to pick up their puppy, but we kindly ask that you avoid high-traffic animal areas for at least two weeks. This is essential to shield our young puppies from exposure to things they aren’t quite ready for. High animal traffic areas include places like parks, veterinary offices, doggy daycares, zoos, and similar venues.
Please don’t be surprised if we greet you in the driveway rather than inviting you inside. Please understand that various things can be brought in on the soles of your shoes or from forgetting to use hand sanitizer.
We provide complimentary pickup for pets at two airports: Montrose and Grand Junction Regional Airports. For transportation of your puppy to Denver, we currently charge $200, but please note that we require at least two puppies making the journey; alternatively, you can opt for a fee of $350 for a single puppy.
It's important to recognize that there are only a limited number of "puppy-friendly airlines," so when making your reservation, be sure to check each airline's policies regarding age, weight, and necessary health documentation. If the chosen airline mandates a health certificate, there will be an additional fee of $50.
The airlines known to accommodate 8-week-old puppies include: Southwest, American, Frontier, Alaska, and JetBlue.
We offer our flying services to everyone, typically based on availability and a first-come, first-served basis. However, we occasionally have friends and family who can assist us. When requesting a quote, please keep in mind that it will cover the following: flights from regional airports (Montrose or Grand Junction), the carry-on pet fee, a health certificate, hotel accommodations (if an overnight stay is necessary), and a $250 daily fee to cover food, any hired assistance, and transportation.
This fee must be paid before confirming your booking, but only after you have selected your puppy.
This option serves as a convenient meeting point for buyers based on the Eastern Slope of Colorado, as well as for those traveling from farther away. When we need to go to the airport for drop-offs, we prefer to meet at Ruby Tuesday's on Tower Road; however, we have also met clients in Colorado Springs along the route and successfully transported them to Utah and Wyoming.
We request a minimum of 2 puppies for the trip, and of course, the puppies must be at least 8 weeks old. Currently, each buyer is asked to contribute $200 for us to make the trip; alternatively, if you require us to journey up to 5 hours for a single puppy, the fee is $350.
Make sure to watch our social media channels for announcements about new and upcoming litters that may be on the horizon.
